Report on Vocational Education and Training for the Year 2004
Federal Institute for Vocational Training's Steering Committee issues opinion on draft
The Steering Committee of the Federal Institute for Vocational Training ("BIBB") has a legislated mandate to advise the German government on fundamental issues in the vocational education and training field.
Representation on the Committee is equally divided between the four groups management, labour, Germany's federal states and the federal government. During its meeting on March 10, 2004, the Committee discussed the draft of the Report on Vocational Education and Training for the Year 2004 submitted by the Federal Minister of Education and Training, and -without the participation of the representatives of the federal government -adopted an opinion on it by majority vote.
The group of management representatives and the group of labour representatives each submitted their own opinion on the draft of the Report on Vocational Education and Training for the Year 2004.
