Aufgaben und Zuständigkeiten

Section 1.1 focuses on the internationalization of the German vocational education and training system. This includes questions of transparency and accreditation as well as the international dimension of qualifications. Section 1.1 monitors developments of vocational education and training systems of other countries on the basis of indicators and carries out comparisons on basic issues of German vocational training policy. It accompanies the implementation of European instruments (e.g. EQF, ECVET, EQAVET) by participation in European projects or by own research projects and co-operates closely with the National Agency "Education for Europe". Section 1.1 is German consortium leader of the CEDEFOP - Network "ReferNet" and publishes an International Handbook of Vocational Education and Training Systems in German language (Internationales Handbuch der Berufsbildung  IHBB).

Aufgaben und Zuständigkeiten

Im Focus des Arbeitsbereichs steht die Internationalisierung der deutschen Berufsbildung. Er widmet sich Fragen der Transparenz und Anerkennung sowie der Internationalität von Qualifikationen. Der Arbeitsbereich beobachtet die Entwicklung von Berufsbildungssystemen anderer Länder anhand von Indikatoren und führt Systemvergleiche zu zentralen Fragen der deutschen Berufsbildungspolitik durch. Er begleitet die Implementation europäischer Instrumente (z.B. EQF, ECVET, EQAVET) durch Beteiligung an europäischen Projekten oder durch eigene Forschungsprojekte und arbeitet hierbei eng mit der Nationalen Agentur Bildung für Europa zusammen. Der Arbeitsbereich ist Konsortialführer im Rahmen des CEDEFOP - Netzwerks "ReferNet" und gibt das Internationale Handbuch der Berufsbildung (IHBB) heraus.
