Train Better - with www.foraus.de
The BIBB's virtual information and communication forum for training personnel in companies and training facilities "foraus.de" has expanded its services. The new offerings were created with the following goals in mind: to help with training, to provide information about new developments, to create contacts, and to promote discussion among everyone involved in initial and continuing vocational education and training. With the new Knowledge-Börse (Knowledge Exchange), foraus.de users can now put their questions on current topics in vocational education and training directly to experts in vocational education and training - the following fields are available to-date:
- Process orientation in vocational education and training
- Examinations
- Conflicts during training
- E-Learning in training
- Re-regulation in the electrical occupations
- Re-regulation in the "metal" occupations
- Plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air conditioning systems
- Fostering of disadvantaged persons
By adding new, currently relevant topics from the field of initial and continuing vocational education and training foraus.de plans to keep expanding this range of topics available.
In addition to the Knowledge Exchange,
- A new "Suchen und Finden" (search and find) function is offered by foraus.de to allow users to perform targeted research on specific issues in the field of vocational education and training within the "News-Archiv" archive, which contains all of the news items it has published;
- foraus.de now offers publishers and organizations the opportunity to use banner advertising to draw attention to their current services and products in the field of vocational education and training.
Developed by the BIBB in collaboration with Thinkhouse GmbH, since June 2001 foraus.de has been providing professionals in vocational education and training with a cost-free platform on which they can exchange information, experience, and ideas. With 5,600 current members, foraus.de is the largest on-line community for training personnel in Germany - and it is growing: every month its membership increases by 3%.
