Reference Company system (Referenz-Betriebs-System - RBS)
RBS > Surveys of companies are an important tool used by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) to get a feel for the field of practice and make use of the technical understanding of actors working in the field of practice for the work at BIBB dealing with questions and problems in the field of initial and continuing vocational training.
The RBS now includes more than 1,800 enterprises with training programmes, which have declared their willingness to answer three to four written surveys per year on current topics in the area of in-house training programmes. They have also declared their willingness to take part in intensive interviews on a limited scale. In return, these companies receive short evaluations of the results of the prior survey with graphs (RBS information) when they send in a new survey, which you can view here.
