Researching vocational training research - The BIBB research databank goes online!
What research subjects are currently the focus of work at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training ("BIBB")? What research questions in the wide and diverse range of topics in the initial and continuing vocational training field has the Institute worked on to date? Who worked on the individual topics? What research findings are available? These and many other questions can be researched from now on in BIBB's German-language research databank which is now available online at www.bibb.de/fodb.
This databank documents BIBB's research work from the 1980s through today and offers basic information from not only projects that have already been completed but also from ongoing projects. In addition to general information such as project duration and the text of the application, the databank includes information on the status of ongoing projects or information on their conclusion and - for more recent projects - lists of publications related to the project's general research context. Should individuals using the databank find that they require more information, e-mail addresses are provided for directly contacting the relevant researcher(s) at BIBB.
