Department 4

Regulation of Vocational Education and Training

Department 4 is responsible for developing new training occupations and continuing vocational training provisions and regulations, as well as updating the training requirements for existing occupations. This work is based on findings from research on qualifications trends and is carried out in close cooperation with the social partners. This department drafts explanatory notes to the initial and continuing training regulations to assist their implementation in day-to-day practice and evaluates vocational training courses and examination procedures. It also continually updates instruments and quality standards for organizing and shaping initial and continuing vocational training offerings.
