How to find the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training
By car:
- Via autobahn A 562 or A 59 to interchange Bonn-Ost, direction Bad Godesberg, exit Bonn-Rheinaue, then follow signs to the Federal Ministries ("Zu den Bundesministerien")
- Via autobahn A 555 to interchange Bonn-Nord, then on the A 565 direction Siegburg/Bonn-Beuel to interchange Beuel, then on the A 59 direction Königswinter to interchange Bonn-Ost, then on the A 562 direction Bad Godesberg, exit Bonn-Rheinaue, then follow signs to the Federal Ministries ("Zu den Bundesministerien")
- Via autobahn A 565, exit Bonn-Poppelsdorf, Reuterstraße, Adenauerallee, direction Autobahn/Rheinaue (road tunnel) and Franz-Josef-Strauß-Allee, then follow signs to the Federal Ministries ("Zu den Bundesministerien")
There are signs directing you to the visitors' parking site. Please be advised that parking places are limited. We suggest arriving by public transport.
By train:
- From Bonn central station with subway line 66 or 68 (direction: Ramersdorf/Bad Honnef) to Robert-Schuman-Platz (travel time: about 10 minutes).
- From Siegburg/Bonn ICE station with subway line 66 (direction: Bad Honnef) to Robert-Schuman-Platz (travel time: about 40 minutes).
By plane:
Route from Cologne / Bonn airport to the BIBB
- With the airport bus line SB60 to Bonn central station (Hauptbahnhof) (travel time: about 30 minutes), then subway line 66 or 68 (direction: Bad Honnef/Königswinter) to Robert-Schuman-Platz (travel time: about 10 minutes).
