Medium-term Research and Development Programme of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training for the period 2009 - 2012
As part of its efforts to ensure the transparency of its many and diverse tasks, the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training is publishing its Medium-term Research and Development Programme. This document contains information regarding the focus of the work that will be done by the Institute and the contribution it will be making over the next four years toward developing and modernising vocational education and training. The programme's medium-term plan is based on the Institute's legally mandated mission and on current and foreseeable medium-term issues arising from trends and developments in the vocational training field, from education policy objectives and from the addressees' expectations of vocational training research. The Institute's annual research programmes and annual work programme are developed on the basis of the Medium-term Research and Development Programme and current tasks and issues.
