Methods, problems and outlooks at national, European and international level
The European discussion about qualification frameworks and informal and non-formal learning processes is forcing the German VET model into action. In light of this, particular attention is being accorded the role played by vocational skills and competences and methods for determining them.
This conference documentation presents the contributions that the 7th AG BFN Forum made to the skills discussion from a research, political and practical standpoint. The conference focused on the German vocational training model and its compatibility with the vocational training systems of other countries and thus indirectly with its ability to compete at global level.
