40 years of BIBB: 40 years researching - advising - shaping the future
In 2010 the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) celebrates its 40th anniversary. The commemorative publication "40 years of BIBB: 40 years researching - advising - shaping the future" invites readers on a journey through time spanning 40 years of vocational education and the history of the institute. The volume contains 28 articles written by active and former BIBB staff and by experts from research, policy and practice. They share their own personal views of the evolution and contribution of BIBB and its advisory bodies, particularly in relation to current themes and trends, and venture a glance towards the national and international challenges of the future. The anniversary publication is illustrated with a variety of documentation, photos, news clippings and reports and a concluding chronicle.
