Professionalisation of vocational educators and trainers in Europe - what can Germany learn?
The Bruges Communiqué of December 2010 setting out the priorities of European cooperation for the next decade underscored the importance of teachers and trainers in ensuring the quality and attractiveness of vocational education. Realisation of the ambitious goals of European policy on vocational education and training relies on close integration with policy in the Member States.
This volume presents activities undertaken in recent years and different positions on the theme, drawing attention to prospects for the requisite integration of European and German policy on the advancement of vocational educators and trainers.
