Data Report for the Report on Vocational Education and Training for the Year 2011
The 2011 Data Report of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) supplements the Report on Vocational Education and Training issued by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The Data Report offers detailed information on and analyses of the development of vocational education and training in Germany. The first two sections describe the current situation in initial vocational training (Section A) and continuing vocational training (Section B), and trace changes occurring over time. The special thematic focus in Section C is the permeability of pathways between vocational education and academic higher education. Section D gives an overview of the use of programmes, pilot initiatives and competence centres to promote innovations in vocational education and training. The international section of the report (Section E) takes up the thematic focus and considers the permeability between vocational and higher education in selected European education systems.
The Data Report for the Report on Vocational Education and Training for the Year 2011 is available in print form and as an online publication on the Internet.
