The possibility for bilateral talks was widely used.

All of the representatives of partner institutes attending the meeting in Seoul welcomed BIBB's initiative for holding this type of information- and experience-sharing meeting which, in response to Singapore's proposal, revolved around the overarching theme "Evidence-based policy research". This topic was also the subject of individual presentations. It is to be worked on in the framework of a joint dialogue in the future. The meeting additionally offered an opportunity 0 which participants made extensive use of in Seoul 0 for bilateral exchanges of information and for strengthening existing work contacts and establishing new ones. These bilateral talks on common issues were an important part of the meeting, alongside discussions of current VET policy developments in the individual countries.

BIBB's partners from the IAL in Singapore agreed to host the next partners meeting in Southeast Asia in 18 months' time in Singapore.
