Analogue realities and digital media
New tools for training staff
BIBB has been carrying out evaluation research on the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) funding measures "Digital media in vocational training" for a number of years. This activity has now led to the establishment of ready-to-use models for company and vocational school based teaching and learning via digital media, for the advanced training of training staff, for the integration of specific target groups into vocational education and training, for continuing vocational training and for specific branches.
Three parallel user workshops will be staged as part of the specialist conference in order to provide a specific demonstration of the deployment of digital media in initial and continuing VET. BIBB's aim in presenting these case study examples is to offer extensive support for the broad and effective transfer into daily practice of such new training staff tools.
The conference is mainly directed at trainers, vocational school teachers, human resources managers, representatives of training service providers and digital media developers and anyone who is interested in the exchange of information and experiences on continuous further development of training practice within the context described. No fee is charged for participation in the conference.
