A.WE.B initial and continuing training occupations

A.WE.B is a German acronym which stands for initial and continuing training occupations.

A.WE.B offers you up-to-date information on the level and development of vocational profiles for training in the Dual System of vocational training and continuing vocational training.

 In particular, information is made available in an up-to-date version through A.WE.B.:

  • The directory of recognized occupations
  • The documentation of legal foundations for initial and continuing training occupations and
  • The Regulation Revision Procedure for Training Regulations and Continuing Training Regulations
A.WE.B Database

Here you will find details such as occupational group, occupational class (Federal Employment Agency), occupational class (Federal Statistical Office), training sector, occupational field, historical development, statistics (new training contracts, dissolved training contracts, trainees, etc.), underlying legislation and the number of trainees for each currently state-recognized skilled occupation.
