  The vocational training statistics of the Statistical Office summarise statistics on trainees as of December 31 each and every year. The data sheets of the Federal Institute for Vocational Training contain the most important longitudinal statistics and information on all occupations broken down according to the individual German Länder as well as aggregate statistics for Germany.

  The wb monitor continuing education reference system was launched during the fourth quarter of 2001 with an initial survey that included all continuing education and training providers in the Federal Employment Services' KURS database (as of May 2001). Some 3,000 of these providers agreed to participate - analogously to the Reference Company System - in usually two annual interviews on current issues, problems and trends on the CVET market.

  Auf der Internetseite des Instituts für Arbeitsmarkt und Berufsforschung (IAB) informiert die Rubrik Berufe im Spiegel der Statistik über die sozialversicherungspflichtige Beschäftigung und die Arbeitslosigkeit in den Berufen in Deutschland. Beruf steht hierbei für ein berufliches Aggregat der Statistik, das i.d.R. nicht nur einen Einzelberuf abbildet. Die Aufbereitung der Daten in Zeitreihenform ermöglicht den Blick nicht nur auf die aktuelle Situation, sondern auch auf längerfristige Entwicklungen.
