Field of activity

Hairdressers arrange hair and carry out decorative, cosmetic skin treatments and skin-care treatments, including manicure treatments. A substantial part of their activity involves advising clients on the most suitable treatments.

Occupational skills

  • Hairdressers assess, cleanse and care for hair and scalp;
  • master various hair cutting techniques;
  • arrange hair using roller, waving,
  • blow-drying and other hairdressing techniques;
  • carry out hair treatments involving permanent waving and colouring;
  • assess, clean and care for skin and finger nails; apply make-up.
