Chemical production specialists work in the chemical industry and related industries in the fields of production and processing.

Occupational skills

Chemical production specialists have acquired skills in the field of process, production and systems technology which they use along the chemical production and processing chain.


Chemical production specialists

  • operate production and processing systems according to work plans
  • assist in the maintenance and servicing of production systems
  • check and document operations for the production and processing of different products
  • determine material constants and properties during the process
  • use computers to record data and for documentation purposes
  • take responsible care during their work, observing the regulations on health and environmental protection,
  • upational safety, system safety and quality control
  • contribute to the environmentally friendly disposal and recycling of waste products
  • work in a team.
