Duration of traineeship

3 years
The venues for training are the company and part-time vocational school (Berufsschule).

Field of activity

Property agents work in all fields of business in the property sector. They work for housing companies, property developers, real estate and project developers, site and asset companies, condominium ad-ministrators, estate agents or in the property divisions of banks, building societies, insurance compa-nies, industrial and commercial companies.

Occupational skills

Property agents are responsible for

  • leasing and managing property
  • purchasing, marketing and negotiating property
  • establishing and managing condominium property
  • developing property services
  • monitoring the new construction, modernisation and renovation of property
  • developing business- and customer-related financing concepts
  • advising customers
  • analysing the property market and implementing marketing concepts
  • organising and controlling the technical facility management
