"Lifelong Learning" EU Action Programme
The new Lifelong Learning EU Action Programme supersedes the four sectoral programmes Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig. The aim of this new programme is to make a significant contribution to the European Union's development into a knowledge society with stable economic growth and better jobs by fostering lifelong learning. The Lifelong Learning programme has a budget of € 7,000 million for the period 2007 - 2013.
