Integrated Vocational Training Reporting
Realisation of a national indicator system for integrated vocational training reporting
The Integrated Vocational Training Reporting System is being set up to ensure a better (data) basis for education policy analyses and decisions in the area of vocational training following general secondary schooling. The Integrated Vocational Training Reporting System was designed to provide systematic, comprehensive and up-to-date descriptions of the vocational training paths / education paths taken by individuals who have completed or discontinued their general secondary schooling. The importance of the individual vocational training paths and the changes they undergo over time will be determined using this information. At the same time, it will be possible on the basis of the national indicator system to develop targeted education-policy recommendations concerning the current situation.
The work being done for this BIBB project focuses on the development and analysis of robust indicators for vocational training reporting / education reporting. Complete and comparable data sets provide the foundation for this type of vocational training indicator system. One of the project's primary tasks is to address the status of the state-level data and check, on the basis of currently available data, the access to, comparability of and availability of the data.
