Vocational training experts increasingly optimistic about the future

Abstract
The training-place market is currently dealing with major problems. This has not however shaken the experts' confidence in the long-term ability of vocational training to remain viable in the face of the challenges of the future. Most are sure that the combination of work experience and classroom instruction will continue to be successful in the future. In fact, this optimism has even grown in recent years as a study that compares experts' views in 1997 and 2004 shows. For this study, experts were asked how they imagined vocational training would develop in the years up to 2020.
