Coronavirus and possible impacts on vocational education and training

Social and economic life in Germany is currently being determined by the coronavirus crisis. The vocational education and training system likewise faces the challenge of having to react to the new prevailing conditions in a timely manner and of adjusting to the changed situation. BIBB is addressing the possible impacts which the coronavirus crisis may have on VET and on development on the labour and training market. The institute is using its tried-and-tested system of communication between academic research, policy and practice to identify solutions to the challenges now emerging in order to alleviate the consequences of the crisis on the vocational education and training system.
