Open World Café as part of an Allianz study visit

As part of an Allianz study visit, BIBB invites you to a knowledge exchange. Experts from seven Latin American countries and from Germany will discuss practices and experiences relating to key TVET topics. In particular, the discussion will focus on cooperation between learning venues, career guidance, democracy, strengthening training in SMEs, as well as digitalisation and AI. Anyone interested is warmly invited to get involved or simply to take away some inspiring ideas.

The event will be held in English.

When: 17 September 2026, 9.30 am – 1.00 pm (UTC+1)

Programme:

  • 09:30: Welcome and introduction
  • 09:45: First session (covering the following topics: digitalisation and AI, career guidance, and strengthening training in SMEs)
  • 11.15 am: Break
  • 11.45 am: Second round (covering the topics of democracy and inclusion, and cooperation between learning venues)
  • 12.45 pm: Closing session

Anniversary: 5 years of the Alliance for dual VET in Latin America and the Caribbean

30 June 2026: At the end of June, the Alliance for Dual Training in Latin America and the Caribbean celebrated its fifth anniversary. Following the anniversary ceremony, experts discussed in a webinar how dual training models can be implemented in economies with high levels of informality.
