Cooperation with Swiss partner institution
Cooperation with our Swiss partner institute The Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training (SFUVET) and BIBB have cooperated for many years. The cooperation agreement between the two institutes was renewed in June 2014. Regular contact seminars are jointly staged together with two further partner institutes in Austria.
The Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training (SFUVET) is the country’s expert organisation for the initial and continuing training of VET staff, occupational development and vocational education and training research. It has locations in Lausanne, Lugano, Zollikofen and Zurich.
In 2007, SFUVET and BIBB signed the first cooperation agreement, which was extended in January 2021. The cooperation is based on three areas:
- Project-related cooperation, especially in the areas of research and development,
- participation in advisory boards and
- Exchange of information on research and practice in VET by contact seminars.
The next contact seminar will take place in 2025 in Switzerland.
