VET Data Report Germany
The Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) annually publishes the VET Data Report Germany. It complements the Federal Government’s Report on Vocational Education and Training with numerous data, indicators, and analyses relating the development of vocational education and training in Germany. In addition, it provides an overview of programs promoting vocational education that are implemented by the federal and state governments, and presents information on international indicators and benchmarks. Each year, the VET Data Report Germany addresses a current topic that is highly relevant to educational policy and society. The English edition of the VET Data Report Germany is published every two years and summarizes the most important findings for that period.

About the BIBB VET Data Report Germany
The VET Data Report Germany reports systematically on the current situation and the newest developments in vocational education and training in Germany. It is based on empirical data and social research analyses and forms the data basis for the Report on Vocational Education and Training published by the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth – BMBFSFJ (previously published by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research – BMBF). The English version of the VET Data Report Germany is generally published every two years, starting with issue 2010. It is a summary of the German report and provides a selection of the main findings as well as a focus topic. The individual chapters present central indicators relating to initial and continuing vocational education and training in the dual system and illustrate developments that have taken place over time. Each year, a different focus topic is addressed.
