Out now: 2019 Report on the Recognition Act in English
An English translation of the Report on the Recognition Act 2019 is now available. The Federal Government adopted the report of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research on 11 December 2019. The report consolidates the findings of the BIBB Recognition Monitoring.

BIBB evaluation of professional and occupational recognition

A bridge to employment for foreign skilled workers
The Federal Government adopted the 2016 Report on the Recognition Act. Since the introduction of a legal right to a recognition procedure in 2012, the number of applications has grown significantly. The report shows that 96 percent of procedures conclude by awarding full or partial recognition.
On 10 June, the Federal Government formally adopted the 2015 Report on the Recognition Act. The report informs about the recognition process, takes stock of the programme and names future challenges.
