This year's International Roadshow will again focus on the digital promotion of teaching, learning, and assessment processes. On October 9, four examples from Asia and one from Germany will be presented to an audience of Philippine TVET experts and discussed. What makes the German example special is that this project is also supported by the German Initiative for Excellent Inter-Company Training (INex-ÜBA).

This year, the roadshow will take place as part of TESDA's Technology Research Forum. The forum is aimed at experts within TESDA who wish to exchange knowledge and discuss current trends in applied research in the field of technology application. The forum aims to help align vocational training with the latest developments and current industry needs. Around 150 representatives from the fields of practice, industry, and politics are expected to attend.

The examples selected for the Roadshow cover a wide range of sectors and technologies. The following are represented:

  • Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore): AI-based authoring tool for role-playing games and scenarios
  • Labtech (Indonesia): XR application for electric vehicles
  • École Paul Dubrule (Cambodia): Learning platform for the hotel and tourism sector
  • Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (Malaysia): VR application for air conditioning technology
  • Seaversity Innovations (Philippines): Virtual training for the maritime sector
  • Inter-company Training Center East Bavaria (Weiherammer): "NextGenLearn" project – holistic digital support for learning processes using serious games and XR

The core of the roadshow is actively experiencing practical examples. Approximately 30-40 invited guests will have the opportunity to participate.

The event will contribute to the national and international discourse on the possibilities and limitations of digital technologies in TVET and connect stakeholders. The long-standing cooperation with TESDA will also be recognized through the joint event.
