The current placement survey undertaken by the Federal Employment Agency (BA) shows that the upturn on the training market is continuing in 2007. Compared to 2006, the employment agencies had 57,200 more in-company and extra-company training places available (+12.5 %). Notwithstanding this, many apprenticeship applicants in most major cities are still missing out on the upturn.
