The specialist periodical Vocational Training in Research and Practice – BWP publicises academic research findings and practical experiences relating to all vocational education and training issues, thus promoting the exchange of views between training research, practice and policy. The publication covers both national and international developments. BWP has a print run of 2,400 copies and reaches readers in educational establishments, companies, local government authorities, institutions involved in educational and labour administration, chambers, employers' associations and political organisations. BWP is published six times a year. Each issue features a special focus. The periodical regularly includes the BWPplus supplement and documents the resolutions and recommendations adopted by the BIBB Board.
Using the BIBB REPORT information service BIBB is able to address VET policy topics, thus adopting adopt a position on current vocational training issues with the presentation of detailed data, facts and analyses. The main target groups are decision-makers and multipliers in policy making, trade and industry, employers' associations, the social partners, academia and the media. A newsletter provides information about the publishing of the latest report. It can be subscribed to using the contact form below.
The BIBB Data Report with comprehensive information and analyses on the development of vocational education and training in Germany acts as a supplement to the annual Report on Vocational Education and Training issued by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The 300-page print version is available for free and complemented online (www.bibb.de/datenreport/en/). The BIBB Data Report is the standard work in its field in Germany.
The BIBB uses this series to provide the specialist academic community with the latest data, facts or valid (partial) results of studies and evaluations. The "Academic Discussion Papers" are published free of charge/open access and, since 2018, it has been possible to order them as a print-on-demand issue, subject to a charge.
BIBB is making more extensive use of the Internet as a publication medium by including specialist articles on current VET topics. The main target groups are decision-makers and multipliers in vocational education and training planning, VET practice and within the specialist academic research community. Long-term archiving and Persistent Identifiers (the issuing of a URN number) ensure that the articles remain available permanently.

International Handbook of Vocational Education and Training
The publication that has been in existence since 1995 has developed into a practically related standard work for comparative VET research. The main focus is on 42 country studies, which concentrate on national vocational education and training and educational systems. These provide an introductory insight into general socio-economic conditions and the educational policy competences of the respective countries.
iMOVE creates guidelines and studies on vocational education and training in Germany, export markets, and general requirements for the export of services in the field of vocational education and training. The iMOVE market studies provide a compact analysis of developments and trends in international education markets. You can order or download all publications for free.
